Accuride Corporation Appoints Mary E. Blair Senior Vice President, Supply Chain Management

EVANSVILLE, Ind., Oct 24, 2011 (Global Logistics Media) -- Accuride Corporation, a leading supplier of components to the commercial vehicle industry, today announced that it has appointed Mary E. Blair as Senior Vice President, Supply Chain Management, effective immediately. In this capacity, she will report directly to Rick Dauch, President and Chief Executive Officer.

Blair will be responsible for Accuride's global activities in the areas of strategic sourcing, logistics, supplier quality and development, and inventory control and planning.

Over the next several months, she and her team will fully leverage our global raw and indirect material buy in negotiating 2012 supply agreements."

Blair joins Accuride from UCI International, a leading producer of filtration, engine management, fuel pump, and water pump systems for the transportation market. Since 2008, she had served as Vice President and was responsible for leading Supply Chain for UCI's four business units. In that role, she led strategic supply base development, inventory reduction, logistic optimization, and supplier quality and development processes tailored to delivering savings combined with improved quality and delivery performance.

Prior to UCI, Blair was Director, Global Sourcing for International Truck and Engine, the operating company of Navistar International, a leading producer of heavy- and medium-duty trucks, severe service vehicles and engines. Earlier, she held leadership roles in the global supply chain organizations of General Motors North America Operations and Delphi Interior and Lighting Systems.

Blair earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Ferris State University and Master of Science degree in Business from Central Michigan University. She currently is pursuing a Global Leadership Doctorate from Capella University.
