Admin changes to food safety permits and invoices
by Nigel Lewis on 2010-06-29 00:00:00T
he New Zealand Food Safety Authority (NZFSA) is developing a new IT system to streamline the processing of imported foods. To aide the transition to the new system, NZFSA has introduced a new permit format for consignments classed as:
• inadvertent captures
• for personal use
• not for sale, and
• trade samples.
This change is only administrative and providing your paperwork is completed correctly this should not affect NZFSA clearance of your consignment.
If you have any issues clearing consignments, please contact the Central Clearing House.
