LONDON – Jan. 6 – Agility, a leading global logistics provider, has been awarded a contract to provide international freight and on-site handling services for the Gastech Conference & Exhibition in 2017 and 2018.

The 2017 event will be held April 4-7 at the Makuhari Messe International Convention Complex in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. The location for the 2018 event has not been announced. As official freight and on-site handling contractor, Agility Fairs & Events will assist exhibitors and their contractors with logistical and shipping requirements of exhibits to and from the show.

The Gastech Conference & Exhibition is organized by dmg::events UK and is the leading event for the international oil and gas industry, as well as a global meeting place for energy professionals working in the natural gas industry. This event is held every 18 months and attracts over 400 international exhibitors and 15,000 other delegates, VIPs, trade visitors and exhibition representatives. The Gastech Conference & Exhibition, first held in 1972, has been held 29 times. The original event was launched in London to bring together technical decision makers involved in liquefied natural gas (LNG) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) shipping. Gastech has evolved and now brings together the commercial and technical communities from the global energy supply chain.

“Agility’s relationship with Gastech goes back many years so we are delighted to be continuing our partnership for the next two events. We look forward to assisting them to make the upcoming Gastech events the very best in 2017 and 2018,” said David Richards, Managing Director, Agility Fairs & Events UK.
