Hong Kong based China Logistics Club (CLC) has partnered with Global Logistics Shield (GLS) to provide freight protection services for its 400+ members.
GLS provides the industry’s first professionally underwritten participant bankruptcy insurance for creditors and a timely freight payment monitoring and alerting scheme.
CLC’s Chairman, Henrik Christensen, says: ‘for a long time we have sought a solution to provide protection for our members and cover provided by GLS enables us to make it a mandatory condition for membership of the China Logistics Club.
Having this cover in place allows owners and senior management to concentrate on their core business without the concern of financial and payment issues.’
