Athletic Footwear and Apparel Retailer Deploys RedPrairie Solution at 2,700 Stores in North America
STOKENCHURCH, UK – RedPrairie Corporation, a global supply chain and retail technology provider, has announced that Foot Locker, Inc. has rolled out RedPrairie Enterprise Workforce Management (EWFM) at approximately 2,700 retail stores throughout North America. Foot Locker, Inc., which operates retail brands Foot Locker, Lady Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, Footaction, CCS, and Champs Sports, partnered with RedPrairie to help enable store associates to offer exceptional, highly interactive customer service.
“At Foot Locker, we realise that the passion, knowledge, and performance of our store associates is a tremendous asset for our customers,” said Dick Johnson, executive vice president and chief operating officer at Foot Locker, Inc. “We felt that RedPrairie’s workforce management solution was the most intuitive, robust and scalable resource available to help us achieve our vision of being the leading global retailer of athletically-inspired shoes and apparel."
Foot Locker’s deployment of RedPrairie EWFM began as a 21-store pilot that was completed in April 2012. The solution was then deployed at all remaining North American locations between April and July 2012.
“The team is proud of the speed in which RedPrairie EWFM was deployed across Foot Locker’s North American network,” said Noel Goggin, senior vice president, retail at RedPrairie. “The success and seamlessness of this deployment is testimony to the commitment Foot Locker places on improving the in-store experience through empowered associates, and the priority RedPrairie places on speed-to-value for our customers. RedPrairie EWFM with Workforce Management and Execution Management integration is a powerful tool for retailers looking to drive sales across their retail footprint.”
Foot Locker’s implementation of RedPrairie EWFM will allow for the holistic management of its workforce through integrated applications that address time and attendance, forecasting, scheduling, labour standards, and execution management.
Additionally, Foot Locker will leverage the RedPrairie Performance Management reporting module to transform data into actionable business intelligence that further enables the right employees to be in the right place at the right time, to better serve customers.
