Project Objectives: To store the maximum amount of pallets in the allocated 1. area whilst maintaining maximum throughput of client’s consumer goods.

Besides distributing many other products, C.A.Papaellinas, the distributor of Kleenex and Lucozade for the Cyprus market, has chosen to install Schaefer’s warehouse system via their authorised distributor in the country (Spima).

The Schaefer Orbiter System was ultimately selected for the above lines of products. The decision to proceed with 1 orbiter block as opposed to 2 blocks of drive in racking brought enormous benefits to the company.

The productivity has increased greatly in terms of saving the labour and turnaround time forstorage and retrieval of goods. In addition, it also maximise the storage space utilisation by this system.Being the first to install this system in Cyprus, this project proves to be a real success meeting the objectives of maximising the amount of pallets to be stored in the allocated area whilst maintaining maximum throughput of the consumer goods.
