Robert Nilsson Joins Dematic to Lead Software Strategy

GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN, MARCH 2, 2012 – Dematic, supplier of intelligent logistics systems for the factory, warehouse, and distribution center, today announces the hiring of Robert Nilsson as Vice President and General Manager of Software and Supply Chain Intelligence. In his new role, Robert will have responsibility for Dematic North America software strategy and the day-to-day management and growth of the Dematic software business.
 
Nilsson is a software veteran with more than 20 years of experience in executive management, strategy, and general management for technology and software companies. He has significant experience with order fulfillment business processes and has held executive positions with multinational and high-growth venture businesses such as Convergys, eLynx, Ericsson, IBM, and NCR Corporation in the telecommunications, informational technology, and financial services industries. Robert brings an extensive background in SaaS, electronic document management, electronic delivery and signatures, ERP, CRM, billing, operational support, mobile commerce, data warehousing, business intelligence, and networking software.

Nilsson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and his MBA from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. He also has an associate degree in electrical engineering from Vasa Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden.
