Thomas Lieb's conThomas Schulztract as Chairman extended for another five years

(Essen/Berlin, July 25, 2012) On Wednesday the Schenker AG Supervisory Board appointed Thomas Schulz to the company's Management Board. By January 1, 2013, he will take on responsibility for the Human Resources Division. The 49-year-old lawyer will succeed Milagros Caiña-Andree, who has left the company. To date, Schulz has been holding a management position with the logistics services provider Dachser.

Dr. Karl-Friedrich Rausch, Chairman of the Schenker AG Supervisory Board and Member of the DB Mobility Logistics AG Management Board, said, "I am very pleased to have Mr. Schulz take on this position. He brings both human resources and logistics expertise. In our world-wide organization, the Human Resources Division is of key importance."

At the recent Supervisory Board meeting, the Board also extended Dr. Thomas C. Lieb's contract as Chairman of the Schenker AG Management Board for another five years. Lieb, aged 54, has a degree in business studies (Diplom-Kaufmann) and first came to the Group in 1989. At the beginning of February 2001, he was appointed to the Schenker AG Management Board, and in mid-2008, he took on the position as Chairman.
