Gwynne is a logistics professional with over 30 years’ experience within logistics and supply chain management. He has an excellent record in reducing costs and improving performance for his clients.
Consultancy projects include warehouse design, warehouse operational improvements, introduction of performance measures, production of ITTs for outsourcing transport, warehousing and freight forwarding.
Gwynne has worked for companies including Dawson Group, Lane Group plc, Danzas and DHL. He has managed contracts on behalf of Dupont, Dyson, Miele, Nokia and Scottish Courage.
Consultancy clients include Bridgestone, Pirelli, Gefco, Home Décor, Kostal, Mizuno, RICS and Sterilin.
He is also an expert witness in logistics and has assisted with a number of cases.
He is the author of Warehouse Management which has sold over 6,000 copies and The Logistics and Supply Chain Toolkit, released recently, which has sold over 1,000 copies to date.
He runs Warehouse Management courses for the CILT and has produced and managed courses in Dubai, Kenya, The Philippines, Hong Kong, Singapore, China and Kuala Lumpur. He is a visiting lecturer at the University of Warwick, The Singapore Institute of Management and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
He is ex. chairman of the CILT Outsourcing and Procurement committee. Gwynne is fluent in both Welsh and English and speaks basic French.
